RAPID TESTS

Diagnostic rapid tests do not require large time and financial costs, allow you to quickly carry out preliminary diagnostics and interpret the results. They are used in conditions requiring urgent medical intervention or to correct therapeutic tactics. In addition, ready-made test systems are sold in pharmacies and used for home diagnostics. Analyzes have significant time advantages over classical methods and can be carried out at home for debilitated or bedridden patients, and are also in demand in areas with limited access to high-tech diagnostic methods. One drop of blood from a finger, saliva, genital secretions, urine is enough to set up a reaction as a test material. Diagnostic results are comparable in accuracy and sensitivity to traditional methods. Rapid Tests are represented by indicator tubes, swabs, pencils, ampoule devices, test tubes, etc.

The express test passed successful clinical trials at the Research Institute of Virology of the Republic of Uzbekistan in January 2020.

The quality and reliability of the result are confirmed by clinical studies of the international foundation FIND (Foundation for Innovative New Diagnostics) (Geneva, Switzerland).

The rapid test detects the British, South African, Brazilian and Indian strains of the coronavirus.

Detailed characteristics of the test:
Manufacturer: Bionote Inc (South Korea)
Biomaterial: In nasopharyngeal swab samples
Time for one test: 5-15 minutes.
Test Results: Positive/Negative/Invalid
Storage conditions: 2-30 C

Components

Specimen collection

Nasopharyngeal swab specimen

Insert a swab into the nostril of the patient, swab over the surface of the posterior nasopharynx. Withdraw the swab from the nasal cavity.

Insert the swab into an extraction buffer tube. While 2. Analysis squeezing the buffer tube, stir the swab more than 5 times. Remove the swab while squeezing the sides of the tube to extract the liquid from the swab.

Press the nozzle cap tightly onto the tube.

Test procedure

Using a micropipette, collect the 350 μl of specimen from the VTM. Add the specimen into an extraction buffer tube (VTM specimen solution : extraction buffer = 1:1) and mix well. Press the nozzle cap tightly onto the tube.

Apply 3 drops of extracted specimen to the sample hole of the test device.

Read the test result in 15~30 min. Do not read after 30 min.

** CAUTION! Do not read test results after 30 min. It may give false results.

Test result

Negative
A colored band will appear in the top section of the result window to show that the test is working properly. This band is a control line (C).

Positive
A colored band will appear in the lower section of the result window. This band is a test line of SARS-CoV-2 antigen (T).

Invalid
Even if the control line is faint, or the test line isn’t uniform, the test should be considered to be performed properly and the test result should be interpreted as positive.
